This 2 day course, taught by Holly Herman, will invite the participant to explore the many areas of working with the male patient. There will be an in depth focus on pelvic anatomy and physiology, pelvic pain, urinary, colorectal, gastrointestinal, prostate and post prostatectomy issues. The participant will learn about body perception tests, validated questionnaires, medications, hormones, brain science and how they affect males. The participant will gain a solid foundation for the medical causes underlying pelvic floor issues such as: cardiovascular disease, diabetes, coronary artery disease, Hashimoto’s disease, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, Peyronie’s Disease, hard/flaccid, incontinence and pelvic pain. The participant will gain advanced manual skills for evaluation and treatment of these dysfunctions and evidenced based exercise prescriptions that target optimal function.
